Studio Tour Guides

We are looking for Studio Tour Guides to join our Visitor Experience team.

Contract Type       Full-time permanent and Casual

Salary                     £19,500 annum

Days of Work         5 out of 7 days per week

Sunday- Monday on a rota basis

Pension                    Employer 5% Employee 4%

Holidays                   33 days per annum inclusive of bank holidays

The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting our guests and dealing with any information needs that they may have, explaining the relevance of the sets, costumes and artefacts in the studio tour and ensuring that guests maximise their experience. Full training will be provided to successful candidates.


Overview of skills and experience required:


  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to anticipate issues before they become problems
  • An understanding of the needs and expectations of visitors from a wide range of backgrounds with different levels of Game of Thrones knowledge
  • The ability to give accurate and succinct responses to any questions that may arise
  • Confident in working with the general public and speaking to an audience
  • Confident and comfortable with using computers and other technical equipment. The Studio Tour features many high-tech IT installations
  • Fluent in the English language
  • Excellent time keeping skills
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to working environment needs
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team within a busy and dynamic environment
  • Minimum GCSE English and Maths, Grade A-C



  • At least 2 years previous experience in a busy visitor attraction or a fast-paced customer facing role
  • Knowledge of and an interest in Game of Thrones story
  • Fluent in a second language including Sign Language
  • Any relevant qualifications such as First Aid in the workplace, a tour guiding qualification, Disability Awareness Training, JAM training etc
